Chapter one of a short comic about a lonely kid and how he makes friends with the cryptids in the forest behind his house.
The comic has no words, all communication is done through drawings.
the comic made for the 2019 cryptid jam, I planned the whole comic but only completed the first part (out of planned 5).
this is my first ever comic, it's drawn traditionally and scanned using a phone. so obviously the quality is not the best, but it's cute and simple, what's not to like.
Edit: many people think the creature in the comic is a ghost, it’s actually a cryptic called the Fresno nightcrawler, just in case someone was wondering.
